Soil Summary:
dominant soils are very shallow and shallow to granite and similar rocks; very gravelly sandy loams and very cobbly loams throughout, some soils with gravelly clay loam surfaces and gravelly clay and clay subsoils; no lime; no to moderate soil development (clay accumulation); dominated by Pima County soil survey map units 13 (Cellar-Lehmans complex, 5 to 25 percent slopes) and 12 (Cellar-Lampshire-Rock Outcrop complex, 15 to 60 percent slopes). These units comprise 78% and 21% of the ELT, respectively
Geologic Materials:
alluvium and residuum associated with the Holocene piedmont alluvium, undivided (Qy), late to latest Pleistocene piedmont alluvium (Qi3), and Catalina-Rincon igneous and metamorphic complex (TXm) and which comprise 39%, 33% and 29% of the unit, respectively
Landforms:
moderately to finely dissected, weakly to moderately incised fan and pediment surfaces
