Stan Helin Bio
Stan Helin began working for the Forest Service in resource management in 1990. Stan received a B.L.A. in Landscape Architecture from the University of Arizona. He first served as Forest Landscape Architect and moved into Recreation Program management until he took a Staff Officer position overseeing Engineering, Lands, Minerals, Recreation, Special Uses and Heritage. In 2008, he took over the Santa Catalina District Ranger position and now works closely with the FireScape team developing the Catalina-Rincon FireScape project.
