Description:
In Saguaro National Park, a patch of brittlebush in the midground, and foothill paloverde and whitethorn in the background.
At lower elevations than shown here, this LTA is dominated by whitethorn, mariola, and occasionally creosote bush. Common associates include Mexican crucillo, croton, paperflower, ocotillo, and hackberry bush. Saguaro is common, mesquite is uncommon, and jojoba bush is absent. Common bunchgrasses include bush muhly and tanglehead.
