dominant soils are shallow to granite and similar rocks; very gravelly sandy loams throughout or gravelly coarse sandy loam over sandy clay loam; no lime; no or modest soil development (clay accumulation); nearly complete coverage of the unit indicates Pima County soil survey map unit 52 (Oracle-Romero-Rock outcrop complex, 5 to 35 percent slopes) which comprises 93% of the unit
Geologic Materials:
alluvium and residuum associated with sandstone, siltstone, and conglomerate, undivided (QTs) and Holocene piedmont alluvium, undivided (Qy) which comprise 85% and 10% of the unit, respectively
Landforms:
undissected to finely dissected, weakly incised fan and pediment surfaces
